It is back to school for the kids but that doesn't mean the fun has to stop for your favorite members of the household! This September, there are a bunch of Mrs. Sizzle approved events for you and the furry ones:
September 14th: The New York Mets are hosting Bark at the Park! Ticket sale proceeds go to the North Shore Animal League America. There will also be a dog parade! So grab a beer, and buy your dog a hot dog and we will see you at the ball park! Ronnie Andren went to photograph the event and said, "Had a great day today photographing Bark in the Park at the Met's game. I was amazed at how all the dogs got along, I didn't see any dog arguments, haha... I also overheard many people saying we should have brought our dog today!!! Maybe next year."
September 13th: The P.A.C.K. (People Against Commercial Kennels) is hosting its first annual walk to end puppy mills! The walk takes place in Greenwich Village and begins at 11! The walk and registration are both free, so bring your whole family!
Also on September 13th if you are in the Bronxville area the Children's Brain Tumor Project is hosting a race that dogs can participate in as well! Register to run/walk or volunteer!
