There's a conversation happening at Purina and it's an inspired one at that. Many influencers flocked to Greenpoint, Brooklyn for the Purina Better with Pets Summit to "bring together the brightest minds in pet science and culture to show how big, innovative ideas are improving the emotional wellness of pets and the people who love them." I went with the fabulous Andrea Arden of Andrea Arden dog training and what we discovered were some of the most brilliant vets, behaviorists, influencers and pets all under one roof. I was especially taken with senior researcher Arleigh Reynolds Ph. D., DVM and the stories of his work and his 76 dogs that live at home with him. In addition, another fav or mine, Dr. Marty Becker was on hand to moderate a really insightful panel about stress and pets; an especially enlightening one for me who has been trying to understand why my little Clair has been peeing on my bed. TMI, but it took further speaking to another expert who attended, Arden Moore, to realize that it was a cry for help.
My take away is that life is definitley #BetterWithPets and here are some fabulous photos by David Williams to prove it.
