I have admired the art of Christoph Niemann for some time now and my curiosity got to me so I reached out. This is the genius response I got:

"Dogs have been part of my creative DNA for as long as I can remember. I would draw them endlessly as a child as I wanted one so much. So much so that I would make believe they were mine for real. Finally for my 10th birthday my parents gave in and gave me my first dog. Their personalities and souls are so fascinating to me...and their eyes....tell a million stories."
Edie and Clair went gallery hopping last week with Tara Sgroi and their favorite stop was the Eric Firestone Gallery to see the Donald Robertson show. Boy did they have fun!
