Beautiful Paris #adoptdon'tshop
Walking in Central Park last week I was struck by this exquisite dog, her beautiful eyes and her chic collar (of course, I am Mrs. Sizzle!). I asked her owner to tell me her story.

"This is Paris, the rescue puppy we got by searching on line and finding Louie’s Legacy in Staten island. This is a service that advertises rescue dogs from foster parents. Paris came up from the south with her mother, a beagle, and her siblings. While looking on Louie’s Legacy, we saw a picture of Mike, Paris’s brother, and really liked him, so we showed up on a Saturday morning at a Pet store parking lot to meet Mike. I believe it was the first time we had ever been to Staten Island, but a very fortuitous day. We brought Jacki, our assistant, and Dublin, our 7 year old Jack Russell, to make sure we were all in favor of getting Mike. The lovely young foster parent, an ex-military woman, also brought Paris, and we all, including Dublin, fell in love with her at first sight. Paris was 4 months old when we got her and just turned 1. She is the sweetest, most loving dog we have ever had, and has convinced us to always get rescue dogs in the future."
