Mrs. Sizzle couldn’t resist attending a “YAPPY HOUR” at the Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park that was hosted by the famous and fabulous TINKERBELLE. While the dogs were barking and the humans were talking, I asked this adorable papitese’s (papillon and maltese mix) Mom, Sam Carrell, about the secrets of her success.
Here is the scoop:
“Tinkerbelle is from Little Shelter in Huntington, New York. A friend of mine works there and was telling me about her. One day I stopped by to see this mini-pup, and she responded to me in such a way that I immediately knew I had to adopt her. At first she was very timid, and so I began to walk her around the City in order to socialize her, and everyone wanted to stop me to talk about Tinkerbelle. It didn’t take long for her to become a social butterfly!
One day, an agent stopped us on the street and asked if she could send her on auditions. Her first major booking was for Ralph Lauren, and then she soon started appearing in music videos, and the rest is history. From print campaigns to four hit Broadway musicals, she has done it all!”
Sizzle readers should know that in addition to her thriving career in show business, Tinkerbelle also makes appearances at non-profit events for shelter dogs as well as visits children and adults battling illnesses. Needless to say, this delightful doggie’s generous spirit and sparkling personality brings a smile or a wag to all who have the pleasure of meeting her.
